Home Alone

My dad left today for his first out of town business trip since I came around. I think he was nervous about me and my Mom having to hang out for four days straight but I promised him that I would be good. Her and I have been having a blast hanging out together all day and all night, but I suspect that my Dad will be getting up in middle of the night to feed me a few days when he gets back since he has been sleeping ALL night long in the hotel room while he was away. Can't wait to see you Dad - come home soon!!!

Big Tough Guy

Wow, can you believe that I have been here for two whole months already? I have really changed my Mom and Dad's lives - but I have a hunch that they like me around now. Today, I went to see Dr. Franco - I really like her. She told me that I already weighed 12 lbs, 8 oz - that is five pounds in two months - and that I was 24 inches long - almost four more than when I was born!! I don't like that nurse of hers who gave me four shots like I was a pin cushion or something! My mom held me so tight though - she always seems to make everything better!!! I think it was harder for her than it was for me - I'm a big, tough guy!

Bag Boy

My Nana and PapPap were packing today to fly to Seattle for a week to visit my cousin, Rielly, and they tried to pack me up to take with them!!! Good thing my Mom stopped them! I knew it was going to be hard for them to say goodbye but they are going to be back to see me a week! I promised Nana that I'm was going to be good for my Mom while she was gone for the week and that we would spend some more quality time snuggling together when she flew back to Chicago.

Help! Not Just Anybody - Help!

Finally, Mom got some more help to take care of me! My Nana and PapPap Schaefer arrived today from Pennsylvania. I don't think Nana is going to let me down for a week straight. And I already have PapPap wrapped around my little finger - he has even given me a bottle! My Mom had to take a picture of it so that everyone would believe it.

You want to talk about WORK???

Well, Daddy-O went back to work this week. This really sucks - but I have been REALLY lucky to have him home with me for nearly five weeks - I don't think all dad's get stay home so long! Anyway, he puts on these weird, uncomfortable looking clothes and leaves the house ALL day long - then he comes home looking exhausted! I think all he does is talk on the blackberry, type emails on his laptop, and stare at these big, white binders. Jeez, he should try doing what I do all day - eating, sleeping, burping and making dirty diapers! That's HARD work!!! Anyway, you can see how excited I am to see him when he comes home from work!

Happy New Year???!!!

You would cry too if your folks put this goofy hat on you, wouldn't you??? Really, I was just upset because I wanted to stay up later than 12:01, but Mom and Dad were beat - as usual!!! I am really excited for the New Year, though, since I have lots to do - sit up, crawl, etc. Lots to look forward to everyone - check back often to see my updates!!!
