My BFF!

This is a picture of me and my buddy, Chase. He was born just two days before me on Nov. 23rd. He and my mommy are friends and like to get together and have lunch and go for walks with their strollers (a.k.a. our chariots). Me and Chase have fun staring at each other - it is so cool to see someone my own size!!! Me and him are going to be BFF, I just know it! Don't we just look adorable together?

60 lbs - Gone FOREVER!!! And a new "Mommy-do"

Today I wanted to write about my awesome Mommy! She keeps telling me about all this good stuff that she ate while I was in her belly - chocolate cake and cheeseburgers and stuff. Someday, I'll probably love that stuff, too. Anyway, she says that she gained 60 pounds over the nine months when I was inside of her. But after the doc gave her the go ahead to start exercizing after her surgery to deliver me, she want crazy working out and counting these things called calories. She would get so mad when everyone would say - it will take you nine months to get off your baby weight. So, after five months since I was born (three since she could work out), she has the 60 pounds gone!!! I'm so proud of her!!! Here are her before (with the 60 pounds) and her after (60 pounds gone forever) pictures. Oh yeah - and she got a new haircut for her "new look" - her "mommy do" as she calls it! My dad says she's a "hot momma" - he likes her a lot.

What's New? Rolling, reaching, holding my bottle!!

So, you ask - what is Luke up to nowadays? Well, I can hold my own bottle - I grab for it and take it in my little hands and even get it right into my own mouth on occasion! Awesome! And, I am rolling over - front to back, back to front, but most of all, I like to roll in circles. I've got ot keep myself entertained, you know? And I just reach for everything - cell phones, my mom's hair, toys behind my head. I just never get bored - there is way too much cool stuff to learn.

I am getting to be such a big boy - sitting up in my new chair! It is a whole different point of view than looking up at the white ceilings all day long. Pretty cool, eh?

WHAT??? Mommy's JOB isn't taking care of ME???

What the freak!? You mean my mommy is going to leave the house now, too, to go to this "work" place? Ugh! What is a baby to do? I am so sad and confused - what will I do without my mommy all day long? I'm just a little baby, you know? Anyway, I guess I think that it might be good for her to get out of the house and be around big people for a little bit...Soooo, I guess I'll take it easy on her. Plus, I know she will make sure that I am well taken care of. And she'll only be gone three days a week, so I guess that I can deal with that. I'm flexible, you know. It's all good.
